1. San Diego State (9-4)- The Aztecs' 11th ranked total defense from last year must replace 10 starters as well as coordinator Rob Aurich, who took the same position at Nebraska. If Sr. QB Jayden Denegal is unable to develop as a serious passing threat this team may struggle to find its' footing in the newly formed Pac-12 conference.
OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 6.5
2. Western Kentucky (9-4)- The Hilltoppers open with 3 consecutive road games that includes trips to CFB Playoff contenders Georgia and Indiana. With 9 starters gone from last year's defense and a rebuilt O-line on offense this team will be hard pressed to match its' 9-4 mark in 2025.
OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 7.5
3. Texas A&M (11-2)- Both the offensive and defensive lines must be rebuilt in addition to new coordinators calling the plays. With a much tougher SEC slate this time around (Alabama, LSU, and Oklahoma on the road) the Aggies will be one of college football's surprise disappointments this season.
OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 8.5
4. South Florida (9-4)- First-time HC Brian Hartline retained only 3 starters from last year's 9-win season. The schedule is manageable but with a new staff and so much roster turnover expect the Bulls fall out of the top tier of The American standings in 2026.
OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 8.5
