3 NFL Week 1 Takeaways

1. NFC West is the Best- the NFC West went a perfect 4-0 in Week 1 and appears to be the league’s top division, Matthew Stafford shined in his Rams debut throwing 3 touchdowns, the Cardinals defense was dominant and held Derrick Henry to 58 yards, Jimmy Garapolo looked healthy and confident throwing for over 300 yards albeit against a suspect Lions defense, and Seattle picked up an impressive road win at Indy

2. Darnold Revival- working under a new staff and system Sam Darnold looked the can’t miss prospect he was coming out of USC completing 24/35 passes and more importantly no interceptions in a victory over his former Jets team, with a healthy Christian McCaffrey in the backfield the Panthers could surprise some people in 2021

3. Selling Atlanta- with Drew Brees no longer in a Saints uniform the Falcons had a real chance to claim the 2nd spot in NFC South behind the Bucs, instead the defense picked up right where it left off in 2020 giving up a whopping 434 yards and making second year QB Jalen Hurts look like a future Hall of Famer
