3 NFL Week 7 Takeaways

1. AFC North Strength- entering Week 7 the North ranked 2nd behind only the NFC West in my division ratings, the Bengals picked up a signature win beating the Ravens 41-17 in Baltimore moving up 5 spots in my latest ratings, the shorthanded Browns were able to gut out a 17-14 win over Denver and the Steelers went into their bye week winners of 2 straight, if Cleveland can manage their injuries it looks like the North has a solid chance of getting 2 of the 3 Wild Card Spots

2. Rookie QB Woes Continue- rookie quarterbacks Justin Fields and Zach Wilson lost their games by a combined score of 92-16, Fields had 5 total turnovers (3 INTs, 2 fumbles) and was sacked 4 times in the loss to the Bucs, Wilson left the game in the 2nd quarter with a right knee injury but was just 6-10 for 51 yards and the Jets trailed 17-7, luckily for Trevor Lawrence and Jaguars fans the team had their bye week, Fields, Lawrence, and Wilson are now a combined 4-13 as starters thru week 7

3. Top Performers-

WR Ja’Marr Chase Cincinnati- caught 8 passes for 201 yards and a touchdown in the 41-17 win over the Ravens

RB D’Ernest Johnson Cleveland- rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries filling in for injured backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt to lead the Browns to a crucial 17-14 win over the Broncos

LB Demario Davis New Orleans-recorded 2 sacks and 10 total tackles leading the Saints defense in 13-10 win over the Seahawks
