1. Cal Baptist (WAC)- The Lancers rode Senior guard and 2025-26 WAC Player of the Year Dominique Daniels Jr. (23.2 pts,3.2 ast) to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance.  Even with Daniels, however, the offense struggled mightily ranking outside the top 300 in effective fg% and assists per possession and turning it over 12.5 times a game. It will have its hands full against a stout Kansas defense that ranks in the top 20 in opponent fg%. OVERVALUED

2. Gonzaga (WCC)- Led by Senior forward Graham Ike (19.7 pts, 8.2 reb) the Zags won 30 games, a share of the West Coast Conference regular season title, and the tournament title. Junior forward Braden Huff (17.8 pts, 5.6 reb) who missed the final 2-plus months of the season with a knee injury, could be back for the Sweet 16 turning this team into a legit threat to make it Indy and beyond. UNDERVALUED

3. Saint Mary’s (CA) (WCC)- for the 4th consecutive year the Gaels earned at least a share of the West Coast conference regular season crown.  Led by 6’8” Junior forward Paulius Murauskas (18.8 pts, 7.7 reb), this team has plenty of size and ranks amongst the nation’s best in rebounding.  With an offense that has a little more juice this year to go along with the program's always stingy defense this could finally be the year HC Randy Bennett returns to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2010. UNDERVALUED
