*2024 Record in Parenthesis

1. Delaware (9-2)- The Blue Hens are 26-11 in 3 seasons under HC Ryan Carty and posted a 9-2 mark in their final FCS season despite redshirting a handful of offensive players in preparation for the jump to FBS. With 7 returning starters from a stout defense a year ago this team has the potential to make a splash in its' C-USA debut.

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 4.5

2. North Texas (6-7)- The offense should once again be potent with 2 quality options at QB in Miami transfer Reese Poffenbarger and last year's backup Drew Mestemaker. If the defense can show any signs of life under new coordinator Skyler Cassity, who's had success at previous stops, the Mean Green could contend for an AAC crown.

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 6.5

3. Wisconsin (5-7)- Transfer dual-threat QB Billy Edwards Jr. (Maryland) threw for 2,881 yards and 15 TD's in only 10 full games of action in 2024. If the defense can right the ship with addition of key transfers along the front 7 the Badgers will be headed back to bowl following last year's disappointing 5-7 finish.

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 5.5

4. Houston (4-8)- The addition of transfer QB Conner Weigman from Texas A&M (2,694 yards, 19 TD's) and offensive coordinator Slade Nagle, who worked with HC Willie Fritz at Tulane, should ignite the Cougars' lackluster offense from last season. With a manageable non-conference slate doubling last year's 4 wins isn't out of the realm of possibility.

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 6.5

5. Cincinnati (5-7)- The defense should be much improved with the return of first-team All-Big 12 DT Dontay Corleone as well as an experienced linebacker corps. With 3 Big 12 favorites Arizona State and Kansas State, and Texas Tech off the schedule, look for the Bearcats to climb up the conference standings in 2025.

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 6.5

6. Nevada (3-10)- Senior QB Chubby Purdy (brother of 49ers QB Brock Purdy) has playmakers at both WR and TE. HC Jeff Choate increased his win total every year while at Montana State (2016-19) and if the Wolf Pack can improve on their 2-6 mark in one-possession games last year this team could make an unexpected run at bowl eligibility.

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 3.5

7. Utah State (4-8)- New HC Bronco Mendenhall has posted a losing record just 3 times in 18 seasons at BYU, Virginia, and New Mexico and carries a career record of (140-88). If senior QB Bryson Barnes can build off last year's sensational finish (6 passing TD's, 318 rush yards in the final 2 games) 6 wins is a realistic outcome for the Aggies.

OVER/UNDER TOTAL WINS 4.5
